The Iowa National Guard is one of 40 teams from around the nation participating in Relay Iowa, this weekend. The world’s longest non-stop relay is a 336 mile running event that begins on the banks of the Missouri River in Sioux City on Iowa’s western border and ends in Dubuque on the Mississippi River.
Even though the event is celebrating its tenth year this is the first time the Iowa Army and Air Guard team is participating.
