F-100 pilots from the 185th Tactical Fighter Group pose in front an F-100 Super Saber that is on static display at the Sioux City, Iowa Air National Guard Base on May 15, 2014. All Veterans of the Vietnam War, the pilots deployed as part of the 174th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Iowa Air National Guard, in January 1968 and returned to their home base in Sioux City, Iowa in May 1969.

Thomas Considine Scholarship which is awarded to dependents of active members or retired members of the 185th Air Refueling Wing. After graduating from Woodbury Central High School in Moville, Iowa, Butters will be attending Iowa State University to study engineering.
