185th Air Refueling Wing Welcomes Airmen Home

The 185th Air Refueling Wing (ARW) recognized Airmen deployed in 2011 during a Welcome Home Ceremony held on March 3, 2012.

Col. Brian Miller, Commander of the 185th ARW, hosted the ceremony with distinguished guests Sioux City Mayor Bob Scott and Charles Bosley, representatives of Senator Charles Grassley.

"We appreciate your service and what you mean to our community," said Sioux City Mayor Bob Scott.

Col. Miller recognized the achievement of each of the 185th members deployed over the last year. "As Commander, I could not be more proud of what you do."

Col. Miller also recognized the support of the family members. "We couldn't do what we do without your support. You are as much of our team as the ones in uniform."

During 2011, 306 Airmen with the 185th ARW deployed to various locations in support of the Department of Defense mission.
