Welcome to the 185th Air Refueling Wing Passenger Terminal home page.
Space available air transportation is a privilege extended to active duty and reserve military members, Department of Defense (DoD) civilians, retired military personnel and their dependents. This program is governed by DoD Regulation 4515.13R, Air Transportation Eligibility. Prior to acceptance, all personnel must meet the requirements outlined in this regulation.
Air National Guard departures and arrivals from the 185th ARW using the Space-A program are different than traditional aerial port and passenger terminal. The 185th ARW does not have channel missions, or regularly scheduled flights. Due to mission type and priority of Space Required passengers, not all flights out of the 185th ARW will have Space Available seats.
The 185th ARW Passenger Terminal processes passengers during normal duty hours, 07:00 to 15:30. Limited passenger support is available based on personnel availability and other mission requirements. For your convenience, the 185th ARW Passenger Terminal maintains a 24-hour automated flight information recording phone line, 712-233-0220. The flights that will have seats available will be posted on the phone line 24-72 hours prior to scheduled departure. Once a flight has been released with seats, the passenger prioritization process can begin with the passengers that have signed up.
To ensure the most accurate seat release information, call and listen to the flight information recording at 712-233-0220. Please ensure you call the hotline prior to leaving for the Passenger Terminal for any mission status updates or time changes.
The 185th ARW Passenger Terminal is committed to providing you the best possible service. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. email@example.com
All Passengers must arrive movement ready. Duty passengers must have a physical copy of current travel orders for AMC to keep. Passengers who are not movement ready may be denied travel.
Passengers traveling via Space-Available travel must have a physical copy of all travel documents (leave paperwork, DD 1853, Space-A travel letter, and/or EML forms). DoD ID cards must be valid; and passports must be valid for at least 3 months beyond departure date.
EARLY CHECK-IN PROCEDURES
The following procedures only apply to check-in times outside of our normal duty hours. Passengers are not required to call ahead if the Roll Call time is within the hours of Tue-Fri 0700-1530 Central Time.
Passengers who desire Space-A travel on flights with Roll Call times after duty hours, or anytime on weekends and holidays must let us know of their intent to travel no later than 1600 on the duty day prior to the flight; this time may be adjusted as specified on the 72 Hour Schedule or hotline.
To inform us of your intent to travel, please call commercial 712-233-0420 or DSN 585-0420, leave a message if there is no answer; or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. When you call, please indicate the destination and date you wish to travel and a passenger service agent will be scheduled to process that flight. For those flights with no interested passengers, the flight will be removed from advertisement the duty day prior to the flight, and a Roll Call will not be held.
