Goodin stops at 185th from recent deployment

(SB) – Returning to his roots after a two year absence was U.S. Air Force Captain Justin Goodin, the son of Jim and Julie Goodin of Dakota Dunes, SD.


The 2006 graduate of Westwood High School, and 2010 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Justin completed his flight training at Vance AFB, OK.Flying an AC-130W aircraft with the 16th Special Operations Squadron out of Cannon AFB, NM.,


Capt.Goodin stopped by for two hours at the 185th ARW, next door to Sergeant Bluff, where he was greeted by his parents, grandparents Melvin and Dorothy Ortner of Mapleton, IA., and niece and nephew Addison and Bryce Goodin, and family members Jake and Sheli Goodin, and Marsha Craig. Capt. Goodin was returning from deployment.
