Part of learning how to fight as a team is learning how to play as a team. Members of the 185th Air Refueling Wing (ARW) deployed to Volk Field, Wis. participated in a Guidon Relay Race that pitted squadron against squadron.

Nine teams consisting of eight member s signed up for the race. Each member had to carry a guidon around the nearly mile long course before handing it off to the next member. At stake, bragging rights.

"I thought it went great. We had a good turn out and a lot of people came out to cheer on the runners," said 1st Sgt. Nicole Allen. "Everyone had a lot of fun."

First place honors went to the 185th Logistic Readiness Squadron with a run time of 36:55 minutes. The Fire Fighters came in second at 38:10 minutes and Security Forces rounding out the top three with a time of 39:47 minutes.
