185th Public Affairs Members Win In Media Contest

Three members of the 185th Public Affairs placed in the National Guard Media Contest. This is the 30th year for the contest and it recognizes the work of Army and Air National Guard PA community. Winners will be moved up to the Army and Air Force contests for a chance at winning the Thomas Jefferson Award, the highest award given to Public Affairs members.

Staff Sergeant Jeremy Tevis was awarded 1st place in the Web Based Publication category for the Militiaman Magazine. Master Sergeant William (Bill) Wiseman was also awarded 1st place for his entry in the Personality Photo category and placed 3rd in the Sports Photo category. Techinal Sergeant Oscar Sanchez placed 2nd in the Featured Photo category.

Their work was selected out of 290 enteries in the Air Guard enteries.
