Chief Master Sgt. James W. Hotaling, Command Chief Master Sgt. of the Air National Guard, visited the 185th Air Refueling at the Air National Guard base here on May 3rd 2015.

Hotaling took the time to talk to the enlisted members here at Sioux City. Many of the topics discussed included professionalism, resiliency, and the impact the Iowa Air National Guard has on the global mission.

"You will be the next leaders, you should be doing your job and you should be the best at it," said Hotaling.

When asked about the future of the Air National Guard, Hotaling had strong words of praise for its members.

"Our stock is rising, our structure is sound, our value is high," responded Hotaling.

Encouraging the Airman and thanking them for all the accomplishments the 185th Air Refueling has achieved was a priority for Hotaling. Reminding every airman here at Sioux City why it is important they wear the uniform and the heritage they come from.

"People have been doing UTA's for 337 years, you should be proud of that heritage," said Hotaling.
