Shown here is United States Navy Lieutenant Thomas De Jong in one of the 400-series F/A-18s he flies on missions from a carrier in the Persian Gulf. He's flying the 401 (side number) in this shot, flew the 411 the next day. On the day De Jong met a tanker from the Sioux City refueling wing, he was flying 402. (US Navy Photo submitted)
