Members of the 185th Air Refueling Wing (ARW), Sioux City, Iowa spread straw on a leak in a levee along the flooding Mississippi River north of Burlington, Iowa. Once spread out the straw will be covered with snow fencing to hold it in place. The straw will let the water seep through while keeping it from eroding dirt from the levee.
