CEDAR RAPIDS, IA -- June 13, 2008, One of many vehicle checkpoints set up throughout the flood affected areas of downtown Cedar Rapids. The Iowa Air National Guard was mobilized by the state to provide assistance for the flooding in Cedar Falls, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City and Des Moines, Iowa.
