Pacific Ocean (October 28, 2004) - An F/A-18C Hornet from Strike Fighter Squadron EIGHT TWO VFA-82 "Mauraders" performs flight operations. USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) and Carrier Air Wing TWO (CVW-2) are currently deployed to the Western Pacific Ocean. Carrier Strike Group NINE (CSG-9) is the first to be used in the Surge Role in support of the Chief of Naval Operations Fleet Response Plan. U.S. Navy photo by Lieutenant Perry Soloman. (RELEASED)
