A U.S. Army CH-47 Chinook helicopter from the Iowa Army National Guard delivers a historic U.S. Air Force F-80 Shooting Star to the Air National Guard paint facility in Sioux City, Iowa on September 15, 2022. The F-80 had been on display at the Iowa National Guard headquarters at Camp Dodge in Johnston, Iowa. The Iowa Air National Guard’s 174th Fighter Squadron had flown the F-80C during the early 1950’s. After being repainted in Sioux City the aircraft will be returned to Camp Dodge for static display. U.S. Air National Guard photo Senior Master Sgt. Vincent De Groot
