Colonel Don Forney, 185th Tactical Fighter Group Commander, reads an activation order in front of a formation of Iowa Air National Airman in Sioux City, Iowa on January 27, 1968. The 185th had received extremely short notice activation orders following the seizing of the USS Pueblo a few days earlier. Of the 860 mobilized Airmen, 350 aircraft maintainers and pilots from the F-100 Fighter unit were being deployed to Phu Cat Air Base in South Vietnam. U.S. Air National Guard photo
