185th ARW 2000s organizational hat

Lt. Colonel Larry Christensen wearing a 185th Air Refueling Wing ball cap in 2007. The black ball cap was the last organizational hat authorized to be worn by members of the Iowa Air National Guard unit while in uniform. The black ball cap was worn from 2003 until 2011 when organizational ball caps were no longer authorized following the changeover from the Battle Dress Uniform to the Airmen Battle Uniform.
