Iowa Super Sabres

A pair of U.S. Air Force F-100 Super Saber fighter jets assigned to the 185th Fighter Group on the ramp as two other F-100s take off at the Iowa Air National Guard unit in Sioux City, Iowa August 25, 1964. The Iowa ANG unit transitioned to a Tactical Fighter Squadron in 1961 then grew to a Group the following year. The Group continued to fly F-100s until 1977. 185th TFG photo
